Many people prefer to visit Mumbai at any time from November to May, when the weather is at its most pleasant and stable. The dry climate ensures that tourists are free to explore the city's many attractions without the need for an umbrella. However, occasional northerly winds can cause temperatures to plummet during the dry season, feeling a little chilly. This is especially so at night-time, although temperatures rarely drop below 20°C / 68°F.
